Brainarq is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to protect our systems, applications, and data. You will implement security measures, monitor threats, and collaborate with teams to ensure a secure IT environment.
Role Overview
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement security best practices. You will work across cloud, network, and application environments to protect Brainarq’s assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform security assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis.
- Implement security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure secure software development and deployment practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Provide guidance on secure coding practices and system hardening.
- Keep up to date with emerging threats and security technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network security.
- Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
