Brainarq is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, work with large-scale datasets, and collaborate with data scientists and developers to enable analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Role Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will create robust ETL/ELT pipelines, manage databases and data warehouses, and ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across multiple platforms.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support analytics and ML models.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the pipelines.
- Work with cloud platforms and big data technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Hadoop).
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize database and data warehouse performance.
- Implement data validation, quality checks, and logging.
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Stay updated on data engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency with SQL and Python or Scala for data processing.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and pipeline design.
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD for data pipelines, and containerization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and English communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
